Accepted vs Answered

One day, a rich man who had 2 sons,  got very sick. 

The elder son who was greedy and interested in his portion of inheritance, went to the temple and prayed that God might take his father's life.

The younger son who loved his father dearly, went to the temple and prayed that God might heal his father, even if it was at the cost of all the family's wealth.

Few days later the rich man died.

People, who heard the two prayers, came together and had a meeting. They came out of the meeting with the conclusion "God answered the elder son's prayers! .. he must be a saint!"

Since that day, people have been going to him with presents, gifts and donations asking for his prayers and blessings.
